The Need In Our Community

“Donna who has been a social worker for the past
thirty years and can attest to the current need
in the community for concrete support.”

Families are struggling financially now more than ever, especially with the added burdens of pandemic illness and job loss.  The amount of red tape required to apply for assistance is burdensome, undignified and arbitrary.

Providing occasional diapers goes a long way since there are no other resources available to families to secure them.

  • Diapers and wipes cannot be purchased with WIC or SNAP funds.
  • Local thrift stores or used clothing sites do not carry them or carry only very few.
  • Families with day care are required to provide diapers to the provider for the upcoming week or month, placing even more stress on the family’s limited income.

Dollars saved from the purchase of diapers can go towards utility bills or rent.
Every little bit helps.

Please know that the families you support give back to others in need.
I am overwhelmed by families’ offers of used clothes and baby supplies to other families in their own community.

From Our Recipients

“I had no pampers and no money to get any for my daughter. After a little research I found Anchor of Hope Diaper Bank. Within a couple of hours of first contacting her, I had a two week supply of pampers and wipes! She was (and is) a life saver!” ~~ Diana M., Haverhill, MA
