How Our Program Works

Anchor of Hope Diaper Bank does not
distribute diapers directly to individuals.

We partner with existing agencies and organizations in our community that already provide support to families in need. This model is recommended by The National Diaper Bank Network and we believe this is the most efficient means of diaper distribution. This model relieves agencies of trying to raise funds and secure diapers on their own, letting them focus on their mission of direct service to families. It also prevents families from having to make additional stops to pick up diapers.

By partnering with these organizations, AOH does not get into the business of having to qualify individuals, as this step is taken by our partner organizations themselves, following low income and poverty guidelines.

By following this model, we are not adding another system for families to maneuver through in order to get their basic needs met.

Our job is to focus on getting the diapers where they need to go!!!
